I’m a mom, a daughter, a friend and a photographer.
I photograph the interaction between people and catch that brief moment in time that can never be recaptured.
It’s what I do, it’s my passion and I love my job.

What got you interested in photography?

I can’t remember when I wasn’t interested in photography. I knew I wanted to make a career out of it about 10 years ago. I started to hone my craft, worked and worked at making my pictures better and better.  I can’t imagine doing anything else.

The best part of photographing people is……
Catching them as they are.  Not smiling into the camera and saying “cheese” but truly catching someone’s essence.

Describe your family….
Being a single mother of nine year old twins is tough but the laughter that fills our house is something I cherish. I love hanging out with them and just “being”.  It’s a crazy house but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

If you could photograph any person, dead or alive, it would be……
My grandfather, Linwood Seeley.  He died at a young age of fifty-two when I was only two. I wish I could photograph him with my dad. My dad misses him terribly.

If I were to teach something to someone it would be…..
To be self sufficient. Find your passion in life and learn how to make money at it.

My favorite place to decompress is…….
Maine, my home state.  As soon as I cross the bridge from New Hampshire into Maine, I can feel the stress roll off my back. It means I’m home.

My favorite pizza…..
Pat’s Pizza in Orono, Maine.  oh.my.god!

Weird fact about me…..
I can’t touch raw meat.  Totally skeeves me out. It’s not the fact that it’s raw meat, it’s the texture and the sliminess of it. YUK!!!  Needless to say, I buy a lot of surgical gloves.

My favorite cookie….
Raw cookie dough.  I laugh in the face of salmonella!!

I love…..

My family and friends. They support me and love me for who I am. You can’t ask for anything more than that.
